The SeeWald herbal specialities use traditional local herbs according to old monastic tradition and are processed into herbal elixirs by the European monastery Gut Aich in Salzburg . In the organic cultivation of the herbs, the monks make sure that they obtain them only in protected herb gardens or from wild collection from pristine alpine pastures . The monks have refrained from using chemical fertilisers and pest control for decades. The herbs are selected from hand-picked fresh plants of the best quality and harvested individually at the best possible time. After harvesting, they are immediately processed fresh. A special feature of the herbal specialities is that each herbal product bears an individual mandala developed through meditation. The selection of the plant that the body needs at the moment can therefore be made through the description of the plant and its effect. According to the philosophy of the Benedictine monks, this can also be done by selecting a mandala image that appeals to you at the moment.
