Organic Béretschsamenöl from Saint Charles is gently cold pressed and from controlled organic cultivation.
The bristly haired borage plant belongs to the borage family (Boraginaceae) and is known to us mainly as dill, Gurkenkönig or Augenzier. It is also a popular native garden plant. The precious borage seed oil has, with about 21 percent, a high content of the omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acids and dihomo-alpha-linolenic acids, which are usually only found in high concentrations in mother´s milk.
