Organic Béretschsamenöl from Saint Charles is gently cold pressed and from controlled organic cultivation.

The bristly haired borage plant belongs to the borage family (Boraginaceae) and is known to us mainly as dill, Gurkenkönig or Augenzier. It is also a popular native garden plant. The precious borage seed oil has, with about 21 percent, a high content of the omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acids and dihomo-alpha-linolenic acids, which are usually only found in high concentrations in mother´s milk.

Saint Charles plant-based oils are characterised by:

  • Organic quality (agriculture – oil mills – filling/distribution)
  • High quality: the preservation of valuable ingredients by careful cold pressing by a regional Saint Charles partner company
  • Short as possible transport routes and the avoidance of unnecessary packaging
Oleum Borago Officinalis (100% Borretschsamenöl, cold pressed, from controlled organic cultivation)
Store well-sealed in a cool place, away from light. We recommend north-facing rooms, larders or the refrigerator, to ensure maximum shelf life. Use after opening within 3 months.
