Natural fat burner linseed oil

With 55-60 percent omega-3 content, linseed oil is a vegan and at the same time domestic supplier, with the highest proportion of the polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid. There have already been numerous studies on the diverse health effects of omega-3 fatty acids on the harmonisation of blood lipid levels, on the supply of joints, on the prevention of arteriosclerosis, the positive influence on the heart or the brain.

Disease of Civilisation Omega-3 Deficiency

Due to the disadvantages of the modern Western diet, we suffer asevere deficiency of omega-3 fatty acids in our bodies. Meat-rich diets, cereals and dairy products, but also some vegetable oils, such as sunflower oil, provide us with an excess of omega-6 fatty acids compared to the past. These fatty acids promote anti-inflammatory processes and messenger substances in the body and in turn need polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids (according to the WHO in a ratio of 1:3) as a counterpart. Due to factory farming, but also the consumption of too little fish meat or even fish from questionable stocks, we usually no longer manage this ratio with our normal diet. Numerous experts are convinced that many civilisation diseases are triggered or at least promoted by a lack of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids cannot be produced by the body on its own.

Omega-3 fatty acids play a major role in metabolism in particular, as they act at the cellular level and control metabolism at the lowest level. The body's energy resources are based on the metabolism of fats. So our body needs these fatty acids to function effectively. Linseed oil is able to speed up the metabolism so that it can burn fat more easily and increase energy production. This is accompanied by an increased oxygen consumption of the cells, which additionally helps to produce more energy and thus also to feel an improved sense of well-being.

Flax oil has a positive effect on mood, which is why it has also been successfully used in studies on the subject of depression. Linseed oil also provides many vitamins, minerals and valuable lignans, which have an anti-inflammatory effect. In addition, the essential omega-3 fatty acids can positively regulate cholesterol levels through their lipid-lowering effect. Another good side effect of flaxseed oil is that the energy and calories of flaxseed oil are not stored in the body and with regular intake also a feeling of satiety is produced.

Balanced diet and recipe tip

Flaxseed oil therefore does not replace a balanced diet or sufficient exercise, but it very effectively supports the metabolism and is therefore an ideal companion for nutrition programmes, for losing weight and of course for preventive health care. We recommend taking a maximum of 100 grams of linseed oil per day. Best in cold dishes. Optimal for a small shot in a smoothie, salad or breakfast yoghurt.
