Solid soaps can look back on a long history and tradition. The first surviving soap recipe is around 4500 years old. For a long time, it was reserved for the upper classes of society. It was not until the beginning of the 19th century that soap became accessible to the general population, which radically improved general hygiene. In recent decades, solid soap has been increasingly replaced by liquid soap. However, it is currently making a comeback and for good reason. Solid soaps are economical, save resources and have a comparatively low packaging content. They have a pleasant fragrance, high-quality ingredients and are ideal for showering as well as hand cleansing. Solid soaps offer conscious, sustainable cleansing and even find a place in small hand luggage.
