Saint Charles Fresh Organic Linseed Oil is extra gently and freshly pressed monthly exclusively for Saint Charles according to set standards. The pressing takes place in the last week of each month, so it is available at Saint Charles from the 1st of each month. As this means that the linseed oil may be out of stock after 1-2 weeks, we offer the option of pre-booking (online or at the pharmacy).
Regional
Saint Charles Fresh Linseed Oil Organic comes from controlled organic farming in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria, in the area of the Manhartsberg near Eggenburg. Only a few kilometres away, the linseed is cold-pressed particularly gently by organic young entrepreneur Georg Gilli in his 460-year-old oil mill, which he lovingly restored himself, in order to fully preserve its valuable ingredients. Bottling and refrigerated storage then take place just an hour's drive from the producer at Saint Charles.
Sustainable
Saint Charles Fresh Organic Linseed Oil therefore only passes through a few hands, where the love for the production and the product is reflected in high quality. With its high omega-3 content, linseed oil helps to treat civilisation diseases and supports the trend towards less animal products. Its positive effects on the heart, brain and nervous system have been proven by many studies. Linseed oil can therefore make a significant contribution to healing or health care. Tastes healthy
Saint Charles Fresh Organic Linseed Oil tastes very pleasant and mild with a slight hint of nut and hay. It is therefore ideal with morning cereal, yoghurt, in a smoothie, over ready meals or simply on its own. In linseed-growing regions, potatoes with curd cheese are traditionally refined with linseed oil. Our recommendation is 1-2 tablespoons per day.
