The Organic Pharmacy is based in London and was founded by pharmacist and homeopath Margo Marrone and her husband Francesco in 2002. The company stands for luxurious cosmetics based on organically grown and plant-based ingredients.

"The most important part of my work is to discover and combine phytopharmaceuticals and phytocosmeceuticals. For the development of, for example, Rose Diamond face screme and Gene Expression, I looked for plant extracts with extraordinary properties. In the following, I would like to take three of the most important active ingredients as examples:
OMEGA 6 CERAMIDE
As we age, our cells lose their elasticity and the skin becomes more porous and permeable. Omega 6 ceramides from safflower strengthen the lipid layer of the cells, thus increasing elasticity and preventing moisture loss. The result is plumper and more elastic skin and a finer complexion.
HYALURONIC ACID
Our hyaluronic acid is extracted from a natural source (cartilage kelp) and consists of three different-sized hyaluronic acid molecules that can penetrate the skin layers to different degrees. The skin is moisturised, tightened and fine lines and wrinkles are filled.
