SAINT CHARLES STORE MUNICH

The first Saint Charles brand store in Germany opened in the heart of Munich's charming old town in December 2023. The historic building at Pfisterstraße 6, a former old Munich town house, provides the perfect backdrop for a unique shopping experience. The immediate surroundings impress with medieval alleyways, Gothic churches and the vibrant Marienplatz.

The newly opened store covers 42 square metres and transports visitors into a world of well-being. Over 400 products from the fields of natural cosmetics, aromatherapy and herbal medicine are waiting to be discovered. The focus on sustainability is emphasised not only by the products' natural ingredients, but also by the use of elegant amber and violet glass bottles, which are presented without additional outer packaging.

The well thought-out store concept focuses on experience and personalised advice. Tasting-Stationen und ein Waschbecken ermöglichen es den Besuchern, die natürlichen Produkte multisensorisch zu erleben und bieten gleichzeitig eine entspannende Auszeit vom Alltag. The expert staff on site are on hand with specialist knowledge, personalised advice and excellent service.

The award-winning store design puts the focus on the product and invites you to linger in comfort with a sophisticated colour and design scheme.

The close collaboration with trusted partners, including Architektur Büro KLK, is reflected in every detail of the store. Handmade, organic materials emphasise the connection to nature and the dedication to regional craftsmanship.

The metal shelves by Stahlraum Metalltechnik from Vienna create an unobtrusive stage for the product presentation, while the cubic solid wood oak columns by Austrian carpenter Stefan Knopp create a charming, warm contrast and also serve as inviting tasting stations. The sales desks are the result of the tried and tested customised work of carpenter Florian Vrana. 

Another remarkable detail can be seen in the unusual wall design of the sales desks, which draws its fascinating aesthetics from the layers of the earth. Natural gravel and crushed stone, the basis of this earth structure, were selected, sieved and washed by hand on the banks of the Isar. Under the creative direction of Alexander Queisser from "Composing the Raw", these carefully selected materials were used to create a harmonious and authentic wall design with an earthy character.
