The bergamot tree is originally native to West India, but today it is cultivated mainly in Calabria, southern Italy. Bergamot is known as an Eau de Cologne component as well as an aroma for Earl Grey tea. The fragrance of bergamot can be described as fresh, light and citrus-like. The oil is perfectly suited as a room fragrance to lift the mood.
