Inspired by the old Bay Rum used by sailors passing through the Caribbean in its day, and later popular for skin and hair care and shaving in general, dark rum is a refreshing new take on the traditional dark and spicy flavour. Sweet ripe plum and clear bergamot, notes of leather, rum and creamy milk combine to create a heady blend. Both enticingly warm and fresh, this fragrance is synonymous with long days in the tropical sun and long evenings with friends. The scent of the burning candle creates a deep, inextinguishable longing for all the places we've been - but also for those we still want to visit.
Head. Bergamot, plum + anise.
Heart. Leather, rum + vanilla.
Base. white musk.
Vegetable wax blend, cotton wick.
Shorten the wick to 6 mm before each lighting. Place on a heat-resistant, non-combustible surface. Protect from draughts, do not place against the wall. Burn for at least 2-3 hours when first used, then no longer than 3 hours at a time. Do not use again when the candle has burnt down to 1.3 cm of wax.
Hand-poured in Brooklyn. 60 hours burning time. Caution. Do not leave unattended. Burn only within sight. Keep away from flammable materials. Place out of reach of children & pets.
