The nettle is rich in plant iron compounds and has a high chlorophyll content. The beneficial properties of the nettle were even already known to Hl. Hildegard, who recommended their infusion for cleansing. In mythology the „burning“ plant was even seen as a helper to trigger „fiery love“. From a spiritual and psychological point of view nettle symbolises the transformation and development processes as well as the kindling of inner fires, and is regarded as a power tonic for creative force and tired men.
