The Naturhotel Forsthofgut at the foot of the Leoganger Steinberge is distinguished by several awards, a highly motivated team and its proximity to nature. With this unique concept, the innovative family resort is known far beyond the borders of the country. The Naturhotel Forsthofgut also relies on our Saint Charles natural cosmetic series Privatmischung and offers it exclusively to its guests in the hotel's rooms. When the Forsthofgut invited us in spring 2018 to support the renovation of the new bar, we didn't hesitate to answer the call to the Salzburg mountains. The idea behind it: DER BOTANIST - a bar that combines traditional elements of a pharmacy with modern design. To give the bar even more authenticity, more emphasis was to be placed on natural and regional ingredients as well as on the active ingredients of herbal medicine. A philosophy that could not be more fitting for Saint Charles....
Unique bar experience with a difference
The BOTANIST Bar opened in June 2018 - and it will amaze you! The neatly lined up bottles, hand-labelled drawers, an old apothecary scale adorning the counter in between, and not to forget bar manager Tom in his "apothecary look" preparing the herbal cocktails, all contribute in a unique way to this special bar experience. Inspired by natural pharmacies of yesteryear, the return to the original and natural is not to be missed. Local herbs have always had a beneficial and health-promoting effect on body and mind. Together with the Naturhotel Forsthofgut, new mixtures of herbs and herbal products have been created, which bar manager Tom and his team mix individually for each guest. These include an anti-stress cocktail with hemp CBD drops or a drink to support the immune system with masterwort. According to the motto "there's a herb for everyone", every guest will find his or her personal natural cocktail here. Those who have then acquired a taste for the cocktails can also explore the fresh herbs from the surrounding nature on one of the herb walks through the hotel's own forest and garden.
Starting in autumn: Saint Charles Tonicum Shots
Starting in autumn, the Naturhotel Forsthofgut will exclusively offer the new Saint Charles Tonic Shots, which contain a bundle of plant power to strengthen, calm, regenerate or digest. We are pleased to accompany the Forsthofgut in the implementation and development of the BOTANIST bar. And of course many more healthy creations from the world of plants.
