The strong, green hemp leaves are harvested on sunny days in the Waldviertel (Lower Austria), removed from their stems and carefully dried in a ventilated drying plant at low temperatures. As a result, the medicinal plants´ valuable essential oils are well-preserved. These, much like lemon balm are said to have a calming and soothing effect and with its minty notes, lemon balm refines the taste.
An ideal tea for the evening or for relaxed hours.

Cook 1-2 teaspoons per cup with hot water and allow to simmer for 5-8 minutes.
