The evergreen grapefruit citrus tree is now cultivated in almost all subtropical countries such as Israel or Paraguay. The refreshing, exhilarating scent is described as being fresh and fruity and sparkling. The essential grapefruit oil is used diversely in perfumery, cosmetics and foodstuffs aromatisation.
