Our petitgrain is petitgrain bigarade from Paraguay, which is often used as a heart note in perfumes, among other things. Petitgrain was used in a variety of ways from an early stage. Due to its typical, intense scent, it is often used as a room fragrance as it invigorates the body and mind, stimulates concentration and lifts the mood. Overall, the essential oil has a calming and balancing effect and the fragrance is described as a fruity, fresh citrus scent with slightly tart accents. The particularly broad effect of petitgrain is still very popular today and is a favorite in aromatherapy.
