Rosemary has been held in high esteem since ancient times. It was dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite and symbolises love and beauty. Rosemary branches were placed in baby´s cradles to protect them, and also often used in bridal bouquets, still continued as a tradition today. In the first centuries after Christ, rosemary was introduced by monks to Central Europe and was considered an important plant in monasteries against all sorts of indispositions. It represents a driving force, verve and vitality, enthusiasm and mental agility. Thought to reignite dormant inner passion.
