The evergreen tea tree is native to Australia. For the Aborigines tea tree oil has been used for hundreds of years for the treatment of the most diverse assortment of complaints. The smell of tea tree oil can be described as fresh, herby and spicy. It has an antibacterial, antiviral, cleansing and refreshing effect.
