Spruce resin ointments have been used for centuries in traditional folk medicine for the treatment of various skin complaints. By means of different techniques the bactericidal effect of spruce resin could be explained.

The spruce resin contained in this pitch ointment comes from a regional wild collection in the Ötscher region of Austria.

The pitch ointment has an antibacterial effect and supports the natural wound healing of the skin in a natural way. The resin contained in the ointment also supports the regeneration of nails in case of fungal infestation if used regularly.
